Outreach Ministry

Outreach Mission raises awareness of opportunities to serve the church and the wider community, and provides leadership for the budgeted outreach programs, including those listed below. Chair: Judy Shipman

  • Food Pantry - One of the longest ministries of Holy Comforter, the group meets on Saturday mornings to distribute food to the needy in this community.  Volunteers may choose to help with distribution on Saturday 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. or with packing bags of food during the week.   Click here for more information on the Food Pantry.  Contact: Wayne Makin

  • Cuba Ministry - Through shared ministry and support we are help-ing the Reverend Haydee Lugo, Rector of Saint Michael’s and All Angels in Ceballos, and the Reverend Yohanes Cobiellos at St. James the Apostle in the town of Baraguá, to further the Kingdom of God in Cuba.  Contact: Julie Sullivan

  • Grace Mission is an outreach ministry for those who are homeless and needy in our community, sponsored by the Diocese and the churches of the Apalachee Region.  Opportunities to serve include Sunday meals, children’s programs, Bible studies, and holiday events. Collections are taken throughout the year for needed items.  An Angel Tree is offered at Christmas for parishioners to help with gifts.  Click here for a link to the Grace Mission web page.   Contact:   Nancy Daniels
