Pastoral Care 

 

Healing Ministry — Led by Father Jerry, this ministry offers healing prayer for anyone interested in physical, emotional, spiritual, or generational healing.  The service is held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7 pm.

Prayer Chain - Led by Jan Calvin, Prayer Angels volunteer their time to pray for requests that come from parishioners to the church office. Volunteers will participate as requests are submitted. 

 

Intercessors – Led by Bonnie McHugh, These are trained volunteers who provide intercessory prayer at the back of the church during and following Eucharist each Sunday. Volunteers serve on a rotating basis. 

 

Home Meals – Led by Jan Calvin, This ministry provides meals to people who are ill or experiencing a life crisis. Take Them a Meal is a website that allows contributors to enter in information and view other meals being offered. 

 

Bereavement – Led by Eunice Filar, Serve to care for families who have a funeral reception held in our parish hall, providing the set up and refreshment. Volunteers are called to serve as needed. 

 

Stephen Ministry – Led by Barbara Sepielli, Stephen Ministers are trained Christian care-givers who provided one-on-one care to parishioners or community members who are experiencing a life crisis such as divorce, loss, illness, or loneliness. Volunteers need to go through a training process and serve as needed. 

 

Eucharistic Visitors – Led by Laura Rumph, This is a group of licensed ministers who take communion to the homebound or hospitalized, while offering support & encouragement. 

 

St. Clare Guild – Led by Claire Walker, Parishioners knit prayer shawls that are blessed by our priest. The shawls are then given to people in the hospital, nursing home, or those who are in need of the warmth of our parish family. Meetings are held on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.. 

 

Flower Guild - Led by Teresa Thomsen, Parishioners sign up to provide flowers Sunday mornings marking a special occasion, celebration, or in memory/thanksgiving of a loved one. Flower Guild members purchase, arrange, and place flowers on the altar on Sunday mornings. 

 

Card Ministry – Led by Shirley Ellis, Volunteers send cards of sympathy or other greetings.
