Daughters of the King
Daughters of the King is a worldwide Order for lay women of the Episcopal Church and churches within the historic Episcopate. Every daughter pledges herself to a lifelong program of prayer, study, service and personal evangelism, dedicated to the extension of Christ's Kingdom and to the strengthening of the spiritual life of her parish. The emblem of the Order is a silver Greek cross, which members wear at all times.
There are 36 chapters in the Diocese of Florida with about 600 daughters. Our chapter, under the leadership of Katie Simmons, meets on the second Thursday of the month at 6:00 p.m.
