What is a Shepherd Group at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church?

Shepherd Groups come together with a focus on Jesus.
These ongoing gatherings of up to 12 people allow participants to share their lives, pray together, and learn how to apply the Bible in daily life. They're a place of belonging, and being loved by others; a place where heart-to-heart fellowship takes place, and where participants continuously reach out within their group and to others, creating real community within the church and with their neighbors. They're a place where people - in a very real and personal way - walk with one another on their spiritual journey.
When do Shepherd Groups Meet?
Shepherd Groups are open and eager to welcome new participants, your commitment is simply to attend regularly and participate actively. They typically meet monthly or bimonthly. Our goal is to have all Shepherd Groups configured, communicated with, and ready to meet beginning in August!
