VESTRY NOMINATION PAGE
Nominations for the Vestry are now open. We are seeking two new Vestry members. The election will be held on Sunday, October 04th at 9 AM, during our Annual Parish Meeting.
Who can make a nomination?
Any eligible voter of the parish may submit names of potential nominees. An “eligible voter” is someone who is an adult communicant (18 years of age or older) who regularly attends services more often than not, who is officially recognized as a baptized member of the congregation, who contributes financially to the parish, and who (if required) can declare themselves conscientiously attached to the doctrine, discipline, and worship of the Episcopal Church. Parishioners may self-nominate if they feel called to serve on the Vestry.

Who is eligible for nomination?
A Vestry nominee must fulfill the requirements of an “eligible voter,” described above. In addition, the nominee must be willing to accept responsibility for active leadership in the parish, which includes the investment of substantial time. They must be willing to commit to regular, weekly attendance at worship, monthly Vestry meetings, and other scheduled Vestry activities and events.
In addition to the formal qualifications contained in our Parish Bylaws, we especially encourage nominees who are prayerful and spiritually mature; who have a servant’s heart; who are good at visionary and strategic thinking; and who have skills in fiscal planning and policy.

To whom should nominations be made?
Nominations may be submitted via the form below. Alternatively, they (and any questions about nominations) may be sent via email to any member of the Nominating Committee, which consists of Rick Wagner and Corinne Johnston. It is important to obtain the permission of your nominee before submitting his/her name in order to confirm his/her willingness to serve, if elected. All nominations must be submitted by Sunday, September 13th.
